How to read these prices
An asking price is what a dealer advertises, not what a buyer paid. A truck can sell for less than its asking price, and a listing that disappears may not have sold. A dealer’s trade-in allowance is usually lower again, because the dealer needs room for inspection, reconditioning, holding costs and resale margin.
The spread within each type is wide because the chassis, the body, its capacity, bed length, mileage and condition all move the price. Use the median as a landmark, not a value for your truck.
